2nd Game jam complete!

Woo, this is my 2nd game jam game ever and it was possible the most clean looking game I have made. Originally the game was going to use a grappling hook mechanic which was in correspondence with the game jam's theme: web, however, after playtesting, the entire concept was just boring to play which defeats the purpose of making the game. After realizing this I decided to rework the game's mechanics by turning it into a platformer instead. The difficulties that came with that was that the controls were a bit floaty and not satisfying to play with. While making the levels and mechanics, I would constantly fiddle around with the player's controls and movement to make it as satisfying as possible. Though I was able to make it better, in my opinion the movement still isn't all the way there, but I realized that in order for me to complete this game in time, I had to cut my losses. Other then that the game wasn't too difficult to make compared to my 1st game jam game.
